"This work is the fruit of long years' labor of nearly 2 decades. Our aim is to help readers see and understand arthritis."

About the Author


Dr. Syuichi Koarada is a Research Associate in the Division of Rheumatology at the Faculty of Medicine, Saga University, Japan. His team is involved in basic and clinical research in rheumatology and reviews thousands of cases annually. The team has proposed a novel treatment method to prevent aseptic osteonecrosis of femoral head (AONF) induced by corticosteroid therapy in SLE patients and has also extensively studied immunological responses to rheumatic diseases in both human and mouse models.
